It is called EX90 and is the new SUV proposal from the Volvo car manufacturer.
The watchwords are three for this project: simplicity, well-being and natural sources completely in line with the Scandinavian philosophy that has always distinguished the brand.
In the field of automotive luxury, new paradigms are being imposed: no more performance, horsepower and acceleration but recharging and sustainability, no longer ostentatious luxury but management of values and research into materials.
Precisely for this reason the EX90 is an electric SUV that boasts high-end design without forgetting the search for maximum interior comfort and elegance of the passenger compartment.
EX90 Volvo: sustainable materials
The interior of this new product from the Volvo luxury range boasts several choices for the cockpit, all green.
You can therefore opt for a finish of the seats in wool blend, a fabric certified according to decidedly rigorous standards for the respect of animals and workers.
The promotion of the circular economy also translates into a greater quantity and use of recycled plastic in this SUV, in order to use primary resources in a more limited quantity.
The origin of recycled plastic? PET bottles and nearly 50 kg of regenerated plastic for the interior of each example of the new Volvo sustainable luxury SUV.
The design customization opportunity is interesting: in fact, each customer can choose different variants and color combinations between the car’s interior and exterior, thus synchronizing the car in the way that best reflects the personality of each owner.
The new luxury is certainly based on new pillars: the search for personalization, sustainability values linked, however, to high quality performance and great attention to circularity, without forgetting the luxury of comfort and technological connection at the highest levels available.
