The preliminary calendar of the New York Fashion Week which will take place from Friday 10th to Wednesday 15th February has been published.
The CFDA-Council of Fashion Designers of America – the Chamber of Fashion of New York, which has about 450 registered brands, has presented a busy calendar of appointments including fashion shows and presentations that will be made in partnership with Img’s Nyfw: The Shows.
This edition sees the return of the Rodarte brand, on the first day of the event, and in closing the Luar brand, created by Raul Lopez, this year nominated American Accessory Designer of the Year at the Cfda Fashion Awards and in the lists of Time100 Next and Hypebeast100 ( in the photo, a look he showed in September). Among those returning Thom Browne, chairman of the CFDA, who will show on February 14th.
Also on the platform are names such as Altuzarra, Anna Sui, Area, Batsheva, Brandon Maxwell, Carolina Herrera, Coach, Collina Strada, Dion Lee, Eckhaus Latta, Elena Velez, Gabriela Hearst, Jason Wu Collection, Khaite, LaQuan Smith, LoveShackFancy, Michael Kors , Palomo Spain, Prabal Gurung, Proenza Schouler, Puppets & Puppets, Sergio Hudson, Simkhai, Sukeina, Tory Burch, Ulla Johnson, Who Decides War and Willy Chavarria.
There are also a dozen presentations between digital and face-to-face by appointment.
The collections can also be viewed through the Runway360 online platform, the Council’s centralized digital hub, which is also a business hub in support of American brands.
