Azmara Journey

Azamara has announced 44 new itineraries for 2024/25, covering every corner of the globe. The Azamara Quest will visit South Africa, the Azamara Journey will sail the coast of South America, the Azamara Pursuit will visit Asia and Australia, and the Azamara Onward will circumnavigate the globe in 2025.

With 171 late stays and overnights in port, passengers have plenty of opportunities to get to know the local culture and discover hidden gems in ports worldwide.

The president of Azamara, Carol Cabezas, has expressed her excitement at the prospect of taking passengers on all seven continents using the company’s four ships.

The Philippines, Fiji, Samoa, and beyond will be first-time stops for our smaller ships as they explore the world’s hidden treasures and lesser-known ports. There is a growing demand for cruises and other forms of specialised tourism around the world. We plan to continue allowing our passengers to explore some of the world’s most stunning and culturally significant locations.

The Azamara Early Booking Benefit is available for bookings made for voyages departing in 2024 and 2025. In North America, you can save 20% on select cruises for 2024 and 2025, plus get $300 in Onboard Credit, free Wi-Fi for one device, and a Premium Beverage Package for two.

The cruise company will return to South Africa and South America for the first time since early 2020.

Azamara Pursuit will sail the magnificent shores of South America, including a stop in Rio de Janeiro for Brazil’s famous Carnival. At the same time, Azamara Journey will set sail on six consecutive South Africa Intensive excursions to commemorate its long-awaited homecoming.

Antarctic Peninsula, the beautiful Beagle Channel, the world-famous Strait of Magellan, and the far-flung Falkland Islands are all on the itinerary for Azamara’s South American cruises.

According to Michael Pawlus, Azamara’s director of strategic itinerary & destination planning, “we are pleased to bring our guests deeper to experience even more hidden jewels of the world aboard our four ships” as the travel and cruising sectors continue to make tremendous strides.

We are excited to have our guests experience the rich culture and local lifestyle in South Africa and other South American countries on Azamara.

The 21-night Western Africa Voyage of the Azamara Journey will end on December 20, 2022, when the ship sails back to Cape Town. The 16-Night Portuguese Pursuit Voyage, which will bring Azamara Pursuit back to South America, will set sail from Lisbon on November 30, 2022, and end in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on December 16, 2022.
