Pattaya –
Traffic problems continued after motorbikes were found parked on the roadside at Tree Town Market in Soi Buakhao.
Our previous story:
The Pattaya City Police placed signs in multiple languages stating no parking would be allowed on the Buakhao road side in front of the Tree Town Market after complaints from local residents about severe traffic issues.
Now for the update:
Last night (February 24th) motorbikes were found parking in the area despite many no parking signs, with some motorbikes parked directly in front of signs stating parking was not allowed. Soi Buakhao road users are having difficulty passing through the road and encountering regular traffic jams.
Tree Town Market caretakers were unable to give any comment about what they have said before that they have enough parking spaces and it will not cause traffic problems.
The Pattaya News notes that parts of the market have been shut off to through traffic which limited parking spaces. Pattaya Police stated they would install more signs and ensure the signs were more visible. Law enforcement also said they would partner with Tree Town market leadership on solutions to the issue.
